We specialize in a responsive service, sound testing and reporting of results, with a complete understanding of building work / contracts.

Our Sound Tests are backed up by years of acoustic consultancy knowledge and experience. We have the ability to offer professional advice and opinion. Backed up by advanced further training on sound testing methodology at The Sound Research Labs UK. These are services no technician level sound tester can / should offer on a professional basis.

Our Acoustic Consultants offer sound testing backed up by a level of competence and experience which far out weighs the requirements for competency outlined in TGD Section E 2014.

Sound Insulation Testing & Building Regulations.....

Since the beginning of July 2015 the revised Building Regulations Technical Guidance Documents for 'Sound' require that all new domestic developments have a sample of properties sound tested (TGD Section E 2014)

At Dalton Acoustics Ltd. our Acoustic Consultants provide the following relevant sound insulation testing services;

  • Airborne Sound Insulation Tests to Walls and Floor
  • Impact Sound Insulation Tests to Floor
  • Reverberation Time Testing and Measurement for Various Types of developments

All of the above Sound Tests and Reporting, are as per the required standards of the revised Building Regulations 2014, TGD Part E (Section 2) and offer the required proof of compliance from 1st. July 2015 for certification.
